BRUCE MOUNTJOY AIC, RPA
has adjusted multi-line claims in Washington, Idaho and Montana since
1971. He has supervised casualty files and has trained others in casualty skills, investigation, coverage,
negotiations, fire, and physical damage. He handles residential and commercial property losses including
contents, stock, and equipment. He is licensed in Washington, Idaho and Oregon. He has served as
Northwestern Regional Vice President of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters
NAIIA, President of the Spokane Adjusters Association, and President of the Affiliated Adjusters, Inc. He is
a Past President of the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (NAIIA). He co-founded
Able Claims Service in 1979.
JANET GROOM joined Able Claims Service
in March 2006 and brings with her 18 years experience in handling both
property and casualty claims, including trucking industry liability and
premises liability. She attended Glendale Community College and Vale
National Technical Institute completing the casualty training program. She
is licensed in Washington and Idaho.
JAN MARTIN
joined Able Claims Service in May 2002. She trained directly with Bruce Mountjoy for two
years and has assisted him on many large property losses. She handles first and third property claims.
She is also skilled in inventory and contents adjustments. Jan is licensed in Washington.
PAUL TRETHEWY
re-joined Able Claims Service in May 2009. He trained as an adjuster with Able
Claims Service from 2000-2003. After leaving Able in 2003, he broadened his experience with work as
a marine adjuster for a large domestic carrier, working throughout the Northwest. He also
operated a successful marine repair business and managed an auto, truck, and machine repair
shop in the Seattle area. Paul graduated from Washington State University. Paul is licensed in
Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
